….This offering is something we have been wanting because we miss our grandmothers cooking! Though Rochester does have Greek + Mediterranean cuisine, its missing the key component…quality ingredients. In the age of Sysco, Restaurant Depot and Costco, we pride the fact that after more than a decade of working local farmer markets, we have developed life giving networks + access to incredible foods and local products.
We hope you can taste the difference.
My mothers parents before they immigrated to Rochester, NY in 1951 + eventually started a Greek Diner in 1976 that still exists today. Without them I would not have touched the earth, grown food + learned to cook. Eternally grateful. I miss them everyday.
